1. Customer Responsibility
  • Personal Garment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Page 4 (3.6.3.5): 

No customer will be served without wearing a mask

Page 5 (3.6.6.2):

Any owner/worker and customer who has flu-like symptoms mus not be allowed to work or enter the salon

Page 5 (3.6.6.5):

No guests allowed

Page 8 (3.9.4.5):

Indemnity forms must be filled in by every customer and an addendum must be added to the form to state that the customer is aware of, and accepts the dangers of having a close contact procedure done during Covid-19

2. Standard Operating Procedures for Salons (Owner/s and Worker/s Responsibility)
  • Hand Washing and Sanitizing

Page 4 (3.6.1.1):

Provide a hand sanitizing / hand washing station for customers before they enter the business premises

  • Cleaning of Premises and Equipment

Page 4 (3.6.2.2):

Disinfect common areas before and after use including after serving each customer

Page 4 (3.6.2.4):

All bottles with products must be wiped down with a 70% alcohol solution after serving each customer and at the end and beginning of each business day

Page 4 (3.6.3.3): 

The stylist (therapist) must also wear a face shield/visor that must be cleaned after serving each customer

Maintain a register of customers and persons who enter the salon on each day for traceability
